Hello! My name is Justin Bartenbach and I am current Investment Banking Analyst on the Leveraged Finance (LevFin) desk at Citi in NYC. I graduated from Boston University in 2019 with a BS in Business Administration with concentrations in finance and accounting. I also have internship experience at Bank of New York Mellon doing credit research for their municipal credit wealth management team. Unlike a lot of kids, I had no idea what Investment Banking was when I started college. I started undergrad as a first-generation college student, so this was entirely new to me. However, I knew that I liked math, strategy, analytics, etc. and I saw so many talented and driven students from BU pursuing roles in IB, Capital Markets, Sales & Trading, etc. so I figured I'd follow in their footsteps. I am happy to help in any way you see fit, from recruiting and interview prep, to general knowledge when it comes to Investment Banking (product vs. coverage, life of an analyst, bulge bracket vs. boutique, etc.).
