My name is John Lin and I am currently a private equity associate at Bayview Asset Management based in New York. Prior to joining Bayview, I was an investment banking analyst at Citi working across M&A, capital markets, and strategic advisory engagements. Hello, my name is Bjorn Hessen-Schmidt. I am originally from Palo Alto, California and I attended Cornell University where I graduated Phi Beta Kappa with degrees in both Mathematics and Economics. I am currently an Associate at Siris Capital Group and was previously a Senior Investment Banking Analyst within Citi’s Global Industrials Group. Hello! My name is Justin Bartenbach and I am current Investment Banking Analyst on the Leveraged Finance (LevFin) desk at Citi in NYC. I graduated from Boston University in 2019 with a BS in Business Administration with concentrations in finance and accounting. I also have internship experience at Bank of New York Mellon doing credit research for their municipal credit wealth management team. Unlike a lot of kids, I had no idea what Investment Banking was when I started college. I started undergrad as a first-generation college student, so this was entirely new to me. However, I knew that I liked math, strategy, analytics, etc. and I saw so many talented and driven students from BU pursuing roles in IB, Capital Markets, Sales & Trading, etc. so I figured I'd follow in their footsteps.
