BIO

My name is Kaifkhan (Kaif) Kalyani, I am originally from India but grew up in Canada. I am currently in my final year at the University of Waterloo where I am majoring in Accounting & Finance. Throughout university, I have completed internships in M&A, Private Equity and Growth Equity. Most recently, I will be completing an Investment Banking Summer Analyst internship at Moelis & Co for the upcoming summer. I chose to pursue a career in finance and specifically Investment Banking because the idea of working on transactions (IPO’s, M&A etc.) seemed very interesting. Additionally, as someone who also enjoys working in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment, the role seemed like a perfect fit. Having found success in the IB recruiting cycle as an international student from a non-target school, I am happy to share some insights from my experience and provide you relevant advice! I can provide helpful insight on approaching networking, interview prep and overcoming unique obstacles present to international students (Visa issues etc.).
